What’s up Y’all?

If you are reading this, just know—I love you. Like truly, I’m so grateful you're here. You could be doing anything else right now (scrolling Zillow looking at houses in Malibu, Googling “why am I like this,” or avoiding your to-do list), but you’re here reading my random little thoughts—and that means the world.

So… let’s check in! I feel like lately I’ve been feeling this pull to slow down. Not in a dramatic, “move to a cabin in the woods and start a pottery studio” kind of way (although don’t tempt me), but in a quieter, more grounded way. I’ve been noticing how often I try to rush through things—healing, rest, productivity, even joy. Like if I just hustle hard enough, poof I’ll finally “arrive” at this magical place where everything feels calm and figured out. Spoiler alert: that place is a lie.

The truth? Life is more like a group project with the Universe where nobody really knows who’s doing what, but we’re all pretending like we’re good.

And I don’t know about you, but I’m done pretending. I’m learning to let it be messy. To feel my feelings instead of analyzing them like a therapist in my own head. To laugh when I mess up. To rest without guilt. To eat tubs of ice cream.

Wellness isn’t about being perfect. It’s not about sticking to the morning routine every single morning or having your entire healing journey color-coded in a planner. (Although if you do that, I respect you deeply.) Wellness is about being honest. It’s about choosing yourself again and again—even when it’s inconvenient. Even when your inner critic is being loud. Even when your growth looks like baby steps in ugly shoes.

So yeah, maybe today you’re thriving. Or maybe you’re held together with dry shampoo and iced coffee. Either way—you’re still becoming. And you’re not behind.

Thanks for being here. You’re doing amazing. Even if it doesn’t feel like it.
